FOOD: Very Lazy... the secret to becoming a smug healthy eater

As you guys all know I'm a pretty big cooking fan! And I'm also a fan of garlic, and chillies!! So when Very Lazy got in touch to talk about all their amazing products I just knew I needed to know more, and to try them out.

You're probably like us and have seen these in the local supermarket, but perhaps haven't given them a try yet. I have to admit, we are the same, but they have really upped our cooking game.

The range is a mix of ingredients which are pre-chopped or pre-prepared, perfect for use in cooking. Pop them in your favourite dish to spice up or give your food a little kick. Plus they last ages meaning they are a true cupboard staple.

So let's get a little more in depth with these little jars.

The Very Lazy Jars* include Chopped Garlic in White Wine Vinegar, Crushed Garlic with Oil, Grated Ginger with Oil, Chopped Red Chillies and Peri Peri Chillies with Oil.

Approximately one teaspoon of the garlic is the same as one clove of garlic (maybe a little extra) but without all the mess. These all smell totally out of this world good, and taste just as good. They can literally be added to your cooking as an ingredient alternative, saving you the time and effort of grated, chopping or pressing by hand. We've really gotten into using the garlic instead of having to have fresh in the house, or needing frozen ginger.

A word of warning, the chillies have a real kick. Dann tried them for me - I love chillies but usually within a dish, whereas Dann is quite happy to just eat them!

  2. My mum's always used the chopped garlic and it was something I kept meaning to pick up when I was at uni as I use garlic in everything and it's just so much easier this way! Have never seen the chillies before, might pick those up at the same time!
