LIFESTYLE: March in Review

March has been another pretty incredible month, and to be honest I am loving writing these posts as a reflection of my month and focusing on the great things I've accomplished or experienced. It's  so easy to get caught  up in the negatives but it is so important to focus on the little happy moments.

So here I go, my March in review:

My face was in one of the local papers and on their website and moving around twitter, after my company was announced winner of the News Business Excellence Awards in the Community Contribution category. To say I was shocked and over the moon is an understatement. I spent many hours writing the submission and working with my manager to achieve all our community  plans. It's so important to give something back to the local community and I love this aspect  of my job.

We finally moved house! This is probably the biggest point for the month. After five months  of waiting we collected our keys and moved into our three bedroom house. We did the majority of it on Friday  13th with the  help of Danns dad, then went for a trip to Ikea.... where a small fortune was spent!
Our house is starting to take  shape. There's  lots of work as it's quite  dated but it's  a starter.

Which takes us to the revamp of our kitchen! At the time of writing it is still in progress... and literally everything is COVERED in brick dust, but it is getting there. 1/3 complete, and that bit looks beautiful (although it is currently covered in the kitchen from the demolished parts!

I got new ink from the lovely Georgina Jurd at Intense Colours Tattoo studio in Southampton. You can read all about it here.

It's been a busy month really, but I'm thankful for the things I've achieved, and for my home!

Now for April!!!
