BLOGGING: Illustrated Teacup is changing direction

I've recently had a little break from blogging so posts have been a little sparse at the beginning of June - I was on holiday too but I kind of lost my mojo a little.
Anyway, whilst on my blogging break I had a little think about the direction of this blog.

I love writing about tattoos, and judging from my top ranking posts, you love reading about them too, but I also want to share other parts of my life. I guess it comes down to the future.
My home and dream is to start a family soon, and I want to be able to blog about our adventures, so I've decided to start that transition now.

I will still blog about tattoos as they are a huge part of my life, including new tattoos, interviews and conventions, but I will be posting a lot more lifestyle, fashion and beauty posts, and eventually some family orientated posts too. Think Love Taza, with a tattoo twist (I'm kind of in love with this family)!

So you'll soon be seeing new posts about my home, my family, my friends, our adventures, cooking and travels, alongside some fashion, beauty and tattoo posts!

I'm not going to lie, it's really jolted me back to loving my blog, and loving writing and organising, which I was starting to loose drastically. I 100% believe that you should stop doing things you don't love, and I didn't want to loose the love for my blog as I've worked so hard on it in the last year and a half, so I think a little update is well in order.

So here's to a new and improved Illustrated Teacup!

  1. I can't wait to read more about you and your life! I hope that didn't come off as creepy. LOL

  2. Totally think this is the right choice! It's all about blogging about what makes you happy. I started off doing beauty but moved to lifestyle and was very glad I did :) x

  3. Good for you! I can't wait to read more lifestyle type posts of yours and your adventures! I like seeing more of my favorite bloggers outside of their special niche. Kinda makes them see more human and more relatable.

    Love, Jenn
