LIFESTYLE: A peek inside our living room

After such an amazing response and lovely comments about my kitchen renovation, I thought I’d share some of the other parts of my home as we are steadily working our way round and making our house into our home.

As you will have seen recently on the blog we moved into our newly bought home back in March, and since then we have been on a mission to overhaul it and make it our own. We actually completed our living room makeover before our kitchen – read about that here – but the change in the kitchen was so much more apparent. However, our living room is super cute and cosy and we really do love being in it so thought I would share some photos of the make-over and where some of our key items are from.

^^Dann fooling around on the first day we got the keys!^^

^^after we painted! We decided to decorate this room to remove the ‘old person’ smell and as it was so easy without any furniture^^

Now as you can see we have a split room with a grey and brown warm cosy feel. Approxmatey 90% of our furniture is IKEA as we love their storage systems and designs. They’re so simple but can have a great effect in a room. In mean our coffee table is probably my favourite item, filled with bones and art from Tattoo Conventions, and LEGO and comic books for Dann!

Awh your cat at the end is so unbelievably cute! :3 But I love the colour of your living room and how you decorated it. It looks so lived in. Our living room is yellow which suits it very well. We should be doing up our dining room in a few months so I might share a post on that ๐Ÿ™‚ Ellen My Blog Fashion Giveaway click here ! Beauty Giveaway click here!
