Thank You Notes #4 - the co-ordination edition

Another month down, another month to be thankful!
July has been such a strange month.

We've had very busy days, and very quite days.
We've had beautiful sunshine, and pouring rain and thunderstorms!
I've had some of the best blogger collaborations land in my emails, but had illness and sleepless nights to contend with.

It's very much been a month of swings and roundabouts!
But I suppose that's life, and we should be thankful for what we have, even dreadful wet weather, because although we can't really go outside to play, it's doing wonders for the plants and grass in the garden.

Thank you Minene for our beautiful co-ordinated accessories. Every girl knows it's the accessories that makes an outfit, and these dribble bibs* and matching pushchair liner* are basically the best baby accessories going. We adore the dribble bibs, especially as Henry is really teething at the moment, and these are double lined which means they last just that little bit longer. The pushchair liner adds a little extra to our travel system, which has pushed it back up the ranks for us to take it out over our stroller! Plus how adorable does it all look with the perfect Ocean Village background in the sunshine?!?!

Thank you Henry for the first proper unaided steps taken this month and starting to properly walk. Scratch that, you're actually fully walking now! They have seriously been the highlight of the month, and I could not be more proud if I tried!

Thank you Netflix for adding Age of Adaline to your list, it's a great and very under-rated film, and Blake Lively is perfect in it too! Oh also loving Divergent and Insurgent...I realise I'm very late to the party here!

Thank you Sudio Sweden for the rather fantastic wireless earphones*! The second half of my journey to work, and the entire journey home just got that little bit nicer. I forgot how nice it is just to sit back and listen to music without any other distractions - like a kid for instance - and these little bad boys are absolutely bringing back all the pre-baby feels and relaxing this mama, even for just 20 minutes of solitude. Also the sound quality is amazing, and they're super comfy.... yes Dann has already tried to steal them... gadget thief!!

Thank you my pretty orchid from my Uncle and Aunt. We were gifted a beautiful white orchid as a congratulations gift when Henry was born. I honestly didn't think much of it as the time apart from admiring the blue pot it is in. Now over a year later it is blooming new flowers for the third time! And every time we get new flowers on it, it reminds me of Henry and those early days with him. That orchid is now one of my absolute favourite gifts, and reminds me of Henry and how lucky we are to have him every single day. So thank you Uncle David and Auntie Margaret.

Thank You Co-op for mini trifles. Because this girl loves trifle.

Thank you Maddy for my latest tattoo addition!! I don't think I could be happier with it!

Thank you Fantastic Beasts for just existing because I am currently totally addicted to the film and could literally watch it all day every day!

Thank you Calpol for helping my little boy get better in just two days! It wasn't a fun few days, but you definitely helped!

You can see last month's Thank You Notes here.
What are you thankful for this month?

  2. Wonderful blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I'm planning to start my own site soon but I'm a
little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm totally overwhelmed ..

    Any ideas? Thanks!
