I swear we have the biggest collection of soft toys ever in our house, and Henry loves them all. I feel like part of his love for animals stems from his stuffed animal collection. And his growing love of books (yay!!) from his rapidly growing library!
I think reading stories with your teddies is an absolute must for little ones, so we’re starting early with little help from Wonderbly and the Kingdom of You book*. And I caught him red-handed at story time with his fluffy friends.
I think book is probably my favourite as it has the sweetest moral and cute personalised Aladdin vibes – think a genie and three wishes and you’ve got the jist. There are three elements to personalise including of course the main character, as well as two further “favourites”.You can probably guess that one of ours was animal related!!
The process for picking your “favourites” and personalising is so very simple and so fun. I bet this will be even more fun in years to come when Henry can help us chose too.
We read the story for the first time under Henry’s tippee and he loved looking at all the beautiful pictures and hearing his name in the story. I’m sure not much of it made any sense to him, but he seemed happy and liked flipping through the pages (a bloggers photographic dream come true right here) and for me that’s good enough right now.
He’s showing a love for books and I’m happy with that! And if they can all be as pretty as this one, then I’m a very happy mama indeed.
I also promise that the first and last images in this set were a complete fluke! I was just about to put the book back and he decided to sit and have a look through, and I’m so glad I grabbed the camera, because he looks like a total bookworm and I absolutely love it!!

As a mother who loves to travel, I’d love to take Henry on a trip to Disneyland Paris someday. The trip won’t be cheap, but I’ve learned that I can buy or rent a Disney Vacation Club timeshare on the DVC Resale Market at a steeply discounted price.
