Yes I know we’ve only just arrived in November but can you really start Christmas shopping too early. I vote no, especially as the underneath of my bed has been gradually filling up with presents since September!
This year I’m sharing a gift guide for each of my family, so toddlers, new babies, ladies and gents, kicking off with probably the most important of all, the toddler!
Maped My First Finger Paints* – £7.99
With rainy season in and lots of days at home awaiting, finger paints are a must for every toddler. These are safe to use on little hands and wash away easily. They also make for a great stocking filler too. You can buy these on Amazon.
“The Dinosaur that pooped a Princess” book by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter – £3.99
Possibly one of our favourite household authors. We already own two of the books from this series “the dinosaur that pooped…” and they’re Henry’s favourites. This is their newest book for 2018 and is great for boys and girls alike. We’ll be reading this book alongside “the dinosaur that pooped Christmas” every night for the foreseeable future, and shouting “poo” every bedtime!
Jurassic World LEGO Duplo set – RRP £24.99 – currently £20.00
We have quite the collection of Duplo now, and with Henry’s love of Dinosaurs, we couldn’t resist this Jurassic World set. It’s perfect for little hands and learning a range of skills including imagination play and dexterity.
RSPB bug kit* – £11.99
Ready for Spring outdoor adventures, or even Winter days out, this little kit is perfect for teaching all about creepy crawlies! Plus the money from its sale goes towards the RSPB charity.
Penguin Pyjamas – £6
Making a Christmas Eve Box? New PJs are a definite requirement. And I love this cute little set from Asda. Actually I love George clothing in general to be perfectly honest, but this set is great as a gift as it comes packaged with a ribbon. Great for mums in a rush!
Aloka SleepyLights Nightlight* – £29.98
Henry has always had a night light, mostly because he didn’t start sleeping through the night until the age of 1, and now it’s just habit. This very cute giraffe one is perfect for little ones, with light changing and a remote for parents. Great for turning the light off without having this sneak into their room (every parent’s worst nightmare is waking a sleeping child in the night!). We also love their Christmas Tree light, ready for use every December, perfect for helping Santa to see where to place their stocking.
We’ve also found keeping an eye on the lastest deals has been super handy for kids gifts this year. Ensuring we can make our money go even further and give our kiddos a truly amazing Christmas. Just filter to the type of gift you’re looking for, and away you go!
Also you can see what we got last year for Henry’s second Christmas at age one and a half here!
What have you got planned for your toddlers Christmas gift this year?
