BABY: Gender Neutral Wish List

Gender Neutral Affordable Baby Clothes
As I'm now 24 weeks pregnant I'm starting to think more and more about clothing for Baby Bee.
Because we're not finding out the gender we are going down the gender neutral route which can be a little tricky I'm not going to lie.

Almost everywhere that sells children's and baby clothes section them out by gender, with huge collections of pink tutu's, and dinosaur onesies. Now we don't exactly need masses of clothes as we really only need gender neutral for the first couple of months until well we know what Baby Bee is, and then we'll be buying more gender specific clothing.

Now I'm actually quite picky. I really like baby boy clothing in general, there's a nice mix of farm animals, trucks and cars, dinosaurs and the like within their clothes, in a mix of greens, blues, oranges and yellows. However I have some real issues with baby girl clothing. I don't mind pink as a rule, but I dislike that pretty much everything is pale pink, floaty and fluffy and to be honest is a little too candyfloss like for me. I like blues and reds on girls with the occasional pink, orange and yellow.

So with this in mind I'm collecting a mix of gender neutral clothes in a mix of sizing just in case. I'd rather have a little girl in a mix of gender neutral bits with a few skirts if I'm honest. And there are some really very sweet gender neutral newborn and baby clothing out there on the market.

Today I'm sharing a few of my favourites, which I am pretty close to buying instead of waiting for after my baby shower!!

Above image is two sets from H&M. I am totally loving H&M as their newborn and young baby collection is so good, and a lot of it is from the conscious collection too. And it is such good value for money.
This giraffe set has been high on my wishlist for a little while, but is no longer at my local store so may have to get online instead. I'm also loving the yellow stripes on this long-sleeved bodysuit. It could literally go with anything for a boy or a girl. It also comes in a variety of other colours. These are also in their 3 for 2 range at the moment and really affordable at £3.99 each.

Next is a really popular choice for children's clothing but can be a little on the pricey side. However I have totally fallen head of heels in love with this animal collection. Next isn't so hot on it's gender neutral little clothing, but these really hit the spot! These are priced between £11-17, plus they have a matching bib set. For three sleepsuits or bodysuits, they are quite reasonably priced.

Joules is fast becoming a favourite store of mine, and their children's clothes are so nice. Again these aren't the cheapest out there, but they are really excellently made. I love this whale sleepsuit and would be tempted to get it in a larger size to get lots of bedtime wear out of it. And these little leggings are just too cute for words. The image is them from the back, so the little faces are on their bums!!

This was an unlikely find for me in Zara. I had no idea they had a baby section and rarely shop there, but I was really impressed with their collection including this cat jumper. You know my baby needs a cat jumper in their lives!! Prices range from super affordable like this top at £4.99 which easily competes with H&M, to the top end scale with Next and Mothercare.

These last two are from Mothercare and Jojo Maman Bebe.
This Snoopy set from Mothercare is the perfect little starter kit and would make a great gift especially as it includes a matching bib. Plus who doesn't love Snoopy?
And last but by no means least is this super bright elephant sleepsuit from Jojo Maman Bebe. This is kinda perfect for sleeping and the early days.
Both are at the top end of my spending spectrum keeping in mind how long Baby Bee will actually be in them for, but they are very cute!

As you can see there are some really cute and lovely neutral clothing out there that isn't just plain white or cream!!

Where are your recommendations for gender neutral baby clothes. Leave me suggestions and post links in the comments below.
